Public Facilities Damage
In 2012, Workzone was engaged to provide services to public toilets which had been damaged by fire and smoke. The client wished to have the toilets reinstated to their original condition, making them safe and clean for public use.
The project involved stripping the toilets of all damaged and soiled material, pressure-washing toilets to remove smoke damage and soot, preparing and painting all walls, ceilings and timber work, supplying and installing custom-made vanity tops and new bathroom hardware.
Being in a high-density area, it was imperative that the job was completed as soon as possible to allow for public access. As a result, the toilets were completed in 2 days with no evidence of fire damage.
